Hey,

Sorry I haven't been on in forever but oh well.

So now I'm adnoid, tonsil, and turbinate(s) free! Anyways recovery from surgery was TERRIBLE! Oh my I hope I never ever have surgery again in my life! But, oh well I'm better now! It seems like half of the time I'm not even at my house or still have clothes packed because of half living my my best friends house! haha oh well it's fun (: Her mom is my second momma though and her and her older sister are my sisters! And me and their whole family are brother and sisters in Christ so I'm always with my family in a way. Anyways I'm soooooo excited for Fall! Mostly because of shopping, yes, but I'm also craving to bake a pumkin pie and it's kind of out of season at the moment. Plus, shopping is less aggrevating because there's more modest clothing out; as in no shorty bootie shorts and string-bean-strap tank tops and dresses. Plus Fall is such a cozy season filled with sweat shirts (which for some reason I have a ton of), jeans, boots, my new TOMS, jackets, etc.

Lately I have been in love with the new TOMS Fall Collection, leather jackets like this one, good fitting cute jeans, and super cute boots! I really love these ones:

Yours Sincerely,
until next time,
Janae

Post Six

Hey there,
I'm up to not much; just waiting to get picked up to go to my best friend's house at the momento. Man they're half an hour late! Oh well, it gives me time to write in my blog. I haven't written in quite few days because, well I'm not really sure why I haven't but any who I'm writing now.
Oh boy I'm still super scared for my tonsil surgery even though my mom assured me that the doctor has performed this surgery like hundred's of times but that doesn't make me very much more safe feeling. I guess I just need to pray about it. Today I finished four devotionals in like half an hour! And they were pretty sincere. Short, but sincere. I'm still a day behind on reading my Bible but I'm going to catch up tomorrow morning. I can just read a little bit faster than I normally do.
I'm so excited! I'm getting my best friend Gloria to start reading actually like thick books! She thinks that they take to long but they're worth it! Sooooooooo worth it! Like she reads the Bible but that's the only one she's chosen to read but now she is. It's the first Left Behind book. This makes me even more excited! Those books are really fantastic! They're clean but action and you never quite know completely what's going to happen next! Well you briefly know if you read Revelation but still.
I'm also getting my metal spacers in at the orthodontist's office the day before my tonsil removal so my mouth'll really be hurting bad! Poor mouth. I'm looking forward to this weekend though because I'm going to see my aunt that I haven't seen in a long time! And we laugh a load when we're together! Oh and good news on my sayings…
So at my quartet we were talking about sayings and I said I always think that things are sayings when they're really not and then I told them about my "A pretty sharp tooth pick" one and my orchestra teacher/the person teaching the quartet, said that it was good! Ah ha! See it is fabulous! Maybe they will catch on after all…
Yours sincerely,
Until next time,
Janae

Post Fem

Howdy there!
I haven't blogged in a few days but I'm back! Today Bible study was really fun even though it was only 2 people! Haha oh well! I want to add three other FABULOUS saying to the list:
  • "Me, I'm a pretty hot pastry if you know what I'm saying,"
  • "Spring Chickens! "
  • "Asta!" (with little finger motion)
Any who, I'm still VERY nervous for my tonsil surgery coming up soon! Ahh! But it will make me never ever have tonsillitis again! Yay for that!
Tonight I might be spending the night with my sista and my other sista! Then we're going to be beach tomorrow! I'm excited to get tan-ner! I'm not quite very tan but I'm working on it. My church is going to Panama next summer and I'm wishing to go super badly! Like that'd just be AMAZING!!! I'd love it! Like of course it wouldn't be vacation because it's a missions trip but still it'd be amazing to see God working in people's hearts and to go out of the country!
In the Bible Study I'm in at church we're reading the book "Do Hard Things" and the first to chapters are quite boring, because they're pretty much and into to the book even though there already is an intro! Oh well, at least I have those chapters done with and out of my life you know? I quite like the devotionals though that we're doing except sometimes (okay like a TON of the time) the answer the response questions for you which doesn't make any sense but oh well the rest of it is good! I'm off to go read my B-I-B-L-E!! Haha, that's the book for me! Haha it is though…
Yours sincerely,
Until next time,
Janae

Post cztery, Bible Books & the day called today.

Dear readers, (If there are any out there!)
Just wanted to let you know what's up. Well today I was reading my Bible, like always, and I found a really great verse I like. I'll share it with you incase maybe you'll like it too! Here it is:
Psalm 128:1- Blessed are those who fear the Lord,
Who walk in his ways.
Does anybody else do this? Okay maybe you're wondering what I'm talking about. I like to listen to Air 1 or the classical station when I'm on the computer. Like when I'd have to study for this big Geography test I'd listen to either station to make it more fun I guess, it's kind of hard to make studying fun but it helps at least ya know? Anyways I love Air 1, but it doesn't come in very clear where I live so that stinks a bunch but I listen to it online when I remember/can. If you can get Air 1 clear where you live then listen to it you can listen online or find out where your local station is on Air1.com! It's pretty amazing, so check it out!
Probably one of my favorite books in the Bible is Psalms or Philippians so it's pretty great that right now I'm in the middle of Psalms, okay the end which is sad but it is still Psalms! I just feel like Psalms is to relatable and like upbeat or still even when it's not it's not like extremely depressing like it just encourages me every time I flip to it you know? Like talking to someone who's always upbeat and encouraging towards you, and well everyone!
Tonsil surgery is still coming up soon and I'm freaked out! My mom's acting like it's no big deal and I just won't be able to eat anything really hard but like as soon as the surgery's over I can go anywhere and eat ice cream but that's not how the doctor talked about it!!!!! I'm very freaked out here!!! Uhhh, well what can I do about it but freak? Hmm. I think I need to pray about it a TON like very much a TON!!!! Oh, I almost forgot in my rampage of stress about tonsils that I made chocolate with chocolate chips cupcakes. The recipe said to make coffee cream cheese frosting but personally I still like them better plain. I know it's a waste but I'm contemplating throwing it out…. I mean who else it going to eat it? My mom liked it but I'm not sure she's the biggest chocolate w/ chocolate chip cupcake eater ever.
Uhhhhhh…… do ever feel just like blahhhh? Microsoft word keeps underlining "blahhhh" and "uhhhh" and my "hhmmmmm"s saying that their not words! Does it think I'm dumb? Of course I know they're not words; I just use them anyways! Haha so I just add them to the dictionary. Any who, back to my point; I'm convinced that my dog is crazy, but more so that you can use some made up noise to express how you're feeling in any situation! Sure it's good to only use non-word noises but still I mean if you're just a teenager then they work perfectly fine every so often. You should look up New York to LA by Press Play. It's a pretty good song!
I've just been informed we're having bratwurst (I'm spelling it out because otherwise it'll look like we're eating snobby girls for dinner. See: "I've just been informed we're having brats…" doesn't it look like cannibalism?) for dinner! Yuummmy (: That's pretty good news. I've also decided that I would love Laura Ingraham's job. She gets paid to keep up on the news in politics and give her opinion. Plus, my mom loves to listen to her talk show and when she's on fox news to maybe there'll be people who love to listen to me too! Hmm, I guess that's pretty much all for now.
Yours sincerely,
Until next time,
Janae

Post Tri, Tonsils. Ugh!!!

Salutations blog readers and/or followers!
Anyways, I was on the internet today and saw a quote that I really liked! Haha well to me, a strong Conservative and lover of puns, it was truly funny. Okay here it is:
"Liberals. They're just not right."
Okay so maybe you don't get it or think it's funny but I do. So just to update you on what's going on in the life on Gerty, there's some biggish news to make.
Well, (If you notice how I use the word "well" a TON in my blog well just comment and find me a good synonym. Hey, maybe it'll become the new "well" that everyone who's anyone, which is pretty much anyone, uses daily!) any-who, my mom just told me today that guess what… hold on to your belt buckles blog readers!!!! I'm getting braces in the near future. Yes that's right surgery. Oh boy. Be praying for me! I'm a little nervous but hey, at least I'll get to eat tub after tub of ice cream though right? That is after I recuperate. For most people the Ear Nose Throat specialist said that it takes about a week before they can eat soft foods; which ice cream fits into.
FBA's, (Future Blogger's of America's. It's better than saying hey you! Haha it makes it more personable, well maybe not but funner for me to write!) have you ever seen that episode of The Brady Bunch where they're going to go boating but then their mom and Cindy get tonsillitis so it's postponed? I saw it and now it kind of upsets me because for the longest time I thought that you just couldn't talk, but you could eat ice cream right away but the doctors telling me I will only be able liquid stuff for probably a week now. Anyways, thanks for being there for me to vent to. I'm not sure anyone will probably ever follow/read this blog except maybe my mom or best friend. That's all for this time FBA's.
Yours sincerely,
Until next time,
Janae
p.s. Expect to see random throwing in of sayings & long posts in the future if I have nothing to do because I can type and type and type away…

Post Dos, Sayings!

Dear blog readers,
I've become a little not obsessed but more so like in love I would say with sayings. I'm not sure if that's the right word to describe it but it works good enough. Like "two peas in a pod" type of sayings or "the bees knees" but I've come up with new sayings thinking that they're actually sayings! I'm pretty sure they'll catch on. Just say some here and there every once in a while purely because they're brilliant and then "wa-lah!" it's a popular saying/phrase that has become a part of daily speech wherever the English language is being spoken. Well here's a few:
"I pretty sharp tooth pick!"
"… smarter than the average cookie. Person and/or bakery product."
Yours sincerely,
Until next time,
Janae
p.s. I'll be updating you on more saying that my GENIOUS mind comes up with to stimulate your summer brain with intellectual phrases! haha

Blog #1 and Ps. #119

Hey there whoever's reading my blog,
Today I went to the orthodontist to get spacers to make space for my metal spacers. I hope this won't hurt too much. And sadly I think the worst part is that one of the stick candies that my orthodontist said that I CANNOT eat was Milk Duds, one of the BEST candies ever invented! Sure it's not like I'll probably get the opportunity to eat them a whole bunch while having my spacers but you never know right? Anyways that was my morning so far. Lovely wasn't it? Especially the getting up early for a 9 o'clock appointment part…
Hopefully the rest of the day will be much better than the start. But this morning I did get to catch up on reading my bible. So today I read Psalms 111-127. I know it doesn't sound like a bunch but when you think hard enough you realize that in between the numbers 111 and 127 there's the number 119, and most people raised in the church know that it's THE LONGEST CHAPTER IN THE BIBLE! Oh well. Anyways for the four pages of Psalm 119 (haha it's almost like 911 maybe you'd go into shock from reading the same Psalm so long! Haha oh boy that was a bad joke, nevertheless…) I finally figured out that it's pretty important to obey and love God's laws, precepts, rules, whatever synonym you use, as long as you love and obey them God will take care of you. We should learn to always follow them. Hey don't let me tell you about it; read it for yourself! Maybe I'm wrong (probably not,) and you read that Psalm different for what's going on in your life but still read it, it's great!
Daily Bible Verse: Psalm 119:32- I run in the path of your commands,
For you have set my heart free.

Maybe I'll get to go to the mall today and see if I want to buy red TOMS or the pink Sperry Top-Siders…. Hmm. What do you think? Well my baby-sitting money will either go to savings, shoes, or a leather jacket! By the by, I despise allergies! I really cannot think of one good use for them! They're just annoying and a pain. Any who, that's all for now; I hope you didn't get so bored you died reading this post, I can type and talk quite a bit!
Yours sincerely,
Until next time,
Janae
