My Heaven List

So, you know how people have Bucket Lists? Well I don't really like that term because it sounds sad, so mine is a Heaven List. A list of things to do before I go to Heaven, because since I have a firm relationship with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, I KNOW that's where I'll be going and why(:

Okay so here's what I have so far:

1. Go on a missions trip to Africa

2. Go to Med School

3. Tip over in a canoe

4. Have a PET cow

5. Go on a road trip with at least one of my friends

6. Learn how to surf so that I can stand up for 5 seconds or more

7. Go to France

8. Write a devotional

That's pretty much it so far.

Just Wonderful Me!

Hey there, I love to be Janae. I wouldn't won't to be any other person simply because I love my personality! Well, okay that sounds a little vain but I fit me perfectly. I'm so myself in everything I do. I love how I love to laugh, how I love God, how I love to go shopping, how I love to act like a Princess, and how I love to be silly in a totally clean and appropriate way. Hmm, okay so that sounds like I'm so full of myself because there are obviously things about other people that I would like, like crazy piano skills or how they can find jeans that fit them right away or those girls who have the right shoe size so that the store always has their size. Uhh, why do I have to have such a common foot size? I don't know!

Side note: I went to the $1 Flip-Flop sale at Old Navy and by the time I got there, which was only like 11:30 in the middle of the day, and of course they pretty much only had the best colors in size 10, 7, or 8. Really? Why not some cute 9s!!! Oh my...

Okay, back on track... but I think it really is important to love yourself. Not to be vain or conceited or anything, but to have self love. God made us in His image and who's to say that God isn't perfect and his creations aren't wonderful? I can understand not liking the things about you like how you have large feet, a petite frame, or can't sing for your life; but to let that take over your view of yourself is unhealthy!

It's fun to like yourself too, I have found that I have much more fun. Instead of hating how I cry easily and have the urge to yell "YOU ARE SO ADORABLE!!!!" every time I see a dog, I just embrace it! Do you know anyone else who does that? I don't, it's just me. Everyone has something that makes them unique; so just find it and love it! There isn't anyone who has the same personality has someone else. I haven't met someone exactly like me and I'd love that sometimes but it does make it more fun to have friends with all sorts of personalities. I'm not sure I could handle myself if I was bouncing off the walls or if I was very outspoken either. I'm just me, and that's wonderful! You are wonderful the way God made you. So, embrace it and love it! Don't love your sin, just love yourself (;

Hair/Allergies/Devos

Lately I've been thinking about hair. It's wonderful, different, and definitely a blessing from God, well I think so at least. I love doing my hair, playing with it and finding new ways to style it. Sadly, because my love of sleep over powers my love of doing my hair, I usually get up late in the morning, take a shower, blow dry my hair most of the way, and go to school. So, it doesn't really look as good as I could make it.

Anyways, a week ago I had to get allergy tested. I advise to not get allergy tested just for the fun of it! (well if you did then you're probably insane also....) The stuck so many needles into my arm it was ridiculous!! Uhh, all that just to feel terrible that night and to find out that I'm super allergic to grass, what a joy! Well, it was terrible but I am glad to have it over with and to know what else I'm allergic to so I can start to feel better.

Oh, did I tell you that I'm writing a devotional for teen girls? I think it's going pretty good. But, I've only got about three days done out of 365. Maybe I'll get this finished by the time I finish Med. School! haha Thankfully I've gotten lots of support for it and one of my really good friends mom is an author that has published a few books and devos so she can help me out with it also.

I can't wait for summer and it's just a little bit longer! Yay!! I can't wait! Oh that's right, I'm babysitting three days a week and doing math for Sophomores. Well at least I'll be busy!

On the 28th my youth group is having a girls night and I'm really excited! I love hanging out and talking with the girls in my youth group and we always end up talking about something interesting! Ex.: My life, when we cry, writing with your left hand, SkyZone, being a missionary, writing a devotional, weird videos, accordions, eBay, camp... etc. But I don't know what I'd do without them and one of them (Kaylin) inspired me to actually keep writing in my Blog! (:
