Clouds and Thick Darkness....

Clouds and thick darkness surround him; 

   righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne. 

Fire goes before him 

   and consumes his foes on every side. 

His lightning lights up the world; 

   the earth sees and trembles. 

The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, 

   before the Lord of all the earth. 

The heavens proclaim his righteousness, 

   and all peoples see his glory.

Psalm 97:2-6

Just take time to read over this passage and form a picture in my mind. Can you believe that we have the option to serve THIS God? What can stop THIS God? Whoever has this type of power and influence must of power over our lives. To me it's comforting to know that THIS God is my Father, watches over me day and night, and protects me in every step I take.
